Saddle of Joy's continued success, reflected in smiles on our clients' faces and the hearts of their families, is determined by our clients' improved quality of life, body, and mind.

Saddles' staff and volunteers are highly trained, qualified, and experienced in all aspects of the work that they do. By enhancing and modifying its therapeutic riding programs and staff skills continuously, Saddles of Joy has thrived for over 20 years as an equine assisted therapeutic riding program! We are always left astounded at the level of dedication and hard work these ladies have put in every situation. They are pure professionalism and equine experts!

Our Instructors

The Saddles of Joy family is fortunate to have many instructors. Listed below are some of the most frequent instructors.

Liz began riding horses at the age of 3 on her family's farm. It is her pleasure to use her experience in teaching and her competitive riding experience to ensure that you succeed.  Above all, Liz believes that riding shouldn't be a serious business all the time, and makes sure that her students have a fun and enjoyable experience doing what they love.

Our resident Psychotherapist. Susan is a highly trained mental health professional with extensive equine experience ready to help you in your journey to wellness.

Susan has helped me manage my anxiety by giving me techniques I can do on my own and with my family. She will listen to and encourage you, celebrate your strengths, and give you unbiased responses.  Thank you Susan!
