Service Description

The goal of this one-hour experience is to give you a basic overview of domesticated horses and how to interact safely with them. In particular, learn how Saddles of Joy interacts with horses by understanding how they view the world. This class will teach you about horse psychology, the difference between predators and prey, and where humans fit into a horse's world. Safety will be an important element of this class. This class will teach you how to safely interact with horses and how to approach, halter, and lead them in a way that keeps everyone safe. Toward the end of your hour, you will practice walking, turning, stopping, and backing up a horse in our arena.
